To start the preparation of the recipe for baked hake with vegetables and potatoes, cut the vegetables into fine pieces . As for the potatoes and the tomato, the ideal is to cut them into slices 1 centimeter thick, at most. Regarding the pepper and onion, you can chop them into thin strips.

You can also accompany baked hake with zucchini and onion, for example. In any case, disinfect the vegetables properly and cut them into thin pieces so that they cook well in the oven.

Once you have the vegetables cut, place the potatoes on the surface of an oven-safe dish previously sprayed with a splash of extra virgin olive oil. Then, add a splash of oil and salt over the potatoes, you can do it to taste.

On top of the potatoes, add and splash the onion cut into julienne strips and the green pepper strips , in addition to the tomato slices. Add the spices to taste. Needless to say, you can also make this baked hake dish with potatoes and carrots, you just have to follow the same steps.

After having preheated to 200ºC, introduce the dish and bake for 15-20 minutes , approximately, so that they poach.

Once the 15 minutes of baking the vegetables have elapsed, take out the dish and place the hake fillets on top . Season it to taste and add a splash of oil or, if you prefer to make a baked hake dish with vegetables and wine, add a splash of white wine for cooking to give the hake more flavour.

Put the pan back in and bake for another 15-20 minutes, so that the vegetables finish cooking and the hake cooks properly.
