NYSPEP Parenting Educator Credential

What it is: The PE Credential defines consistent criteria for the knowledge, skills and experience needed by all parenting educators. The 4 tiers accomodate novice, intermediate and master parent educators, and each requires the parenting educator to demonstrate increasing levels of competence.

Who should apply: All those who support families and facilitate the growth and development of parents through support and education - regardless of your work setting or job title.

**Free 2-hour PE Credential Orientations are currently being conducted across NYS. Register today and learn about the application process, the Tier system and where you fit in. See below.

No matter where you started, or where you are now in your professional development, there is a place for you within the Parenting Educator Credential Tier System!
